Prescription refills

If your child needs a refill of a medication prescribed by a provider at Novant Health Forsyth Pediatrics, please call your pharmacy when you have at least three days of your child's medication remaining. This will give your pharmacy time to refill the prescription or call our office if refill permission is needed. Calling our office instead of your pharmacy will only delay the refill process.

Prescriptions for some medications cannot be called in to a pharmacy. For those medications, you will need to come to our office to pick up a hard copy of the prescription. If your child's medication has this restriction, you will be told that when you receive your first prescription.

If you child is having difficulty taking medicine or keeping it down, please alert your pharmacist and our office.
