On-site labs & services

In order to make pediatrician appointments as convenient as possible for your family, Novant Health Forsyth Pediatrics offers a number of tests and services in our office so you can get the diagnosis and care your children need as quickly as possible.

We offer on-site lab services at each of our offices. Labwork can be drawn at the same time as your child's appointment. This includes:

• Most blood tests.
• Urine tests.
• Rapid strep tests.
• influenza tests.

Please note: These tests are drawn in our office but could be processed at an outside lab. You might receive a bill for these services separate than that from your child's office visit.

Our patients also have access to X-ray services as well as providers who complete minor procedures such as sutures and wart removal. If your child needs these services and they are not available at the office you visit, you will be quickly referred to another office convenient for you.
