My child was nervous wreck and screamed and cried and threw a fit. The doctor was patient with her. Dang to her. She was a blessing! This practice was not our first choice. We switched to Novant due to an insurance change and I couldn’t be happier that we did. I like the doctors so much! I always feel welcomed and comfortable at this practice!

We just moved here and have never had a pediatrician that we loved. Dr. Macdonald was wonderful! Very informative and great with my kids. She explained everything that she was doing to my 4 year old in terms that she could understand. Dr. Macdonald even came back in to help me with my younger child so that I could give all my attention to my daughter during her vaccines. We are beyond excited to finally have an amazing doctor!

We have just come from Brasil. The doctor routine is very different. But arriving here we meet Doctor MacDonald. The kids had empathy with her . She treat them with great care and respect! Every time we need an urgency we call there and we can schedule an appointment with her at the same day. Thanks so much !!!

Children surround Laurie P. MacDonald, MD, nearly 24 hours a day. When she is not with her great patients at Novant Health she is generally home with her husband and their five children. All of that firsthand experience has helped Dr. MacDonald see how great an impact a pediatrician can have on a patient and a family. She greatly enjoys taking care of children and their families as they grow. She also loves the variety that pediatrics provides and being able to provide sick and well-child care. Dr. MacDonald is committed to her patients, her office and her community and is grateful to work in a community that values and cherishes its young people and families.
